Have you ever wondered how rainbows appear after a rainy day? It all begins when sunlight encounters tiny raindrops in the sky. As sunlight enters each raindrop, it bends and separates into a spectrum of colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. The light reflects off the inside surface of the raindrop and bends once more as it exits, sending these vibrant colors toward your eyes. Every rainbow is a delicate dance of light and water, reminding us to keep noticing the everyday wonders around us.
