Turn a written case study into a customer story video

A case study is persuasive because it is specific. That also makes it risky to summarise: one rounded number or invented quote can undo the trust it earns. Storyvalo drafts the story from your approved case study, keeps results and quotes as the source states them, and lets you check each scene before rendering.

Opens the studio with an editable case study to video brief. Sign in or create a free account first; nothing is generated or charged until you continue.

A good fit when

  • The case study is approved by the customer for publication.
  • It has a clear before, during and after.
  • Sales or marketing needs a shorter way to share it.

The closest real example

This export tells a fictional customer’s process from a written case study without inventing results, the discipline this use case needs.

Fictional demonstration: the brand, source and scenario were invented for this example. It is not a customer testimonial or evidence of business results. Watch it with its source and script.

Case study to video, step by step

  1. Link or upload the case study

Paste the published case-study page, or upload the approved PDF if it is not public yet.

  2. Keep the story shape

The starter builds three parts: the starting situation, what was done, and what changed. Edit the brief to say which audience the story is for.

  3. Check numbers and quotes

Compare every metric and quote with the source and its attribution. Remove anything the customer has not approved for public use.

  4. Render and share

Render a landscape video for the case-study page or send an expiring viewing link to a prospect.

No invented results

If the case study says “reduced review time”, the video must not say “cut review time in half” unless that figure is in the source. When a case study has no numbers, describe the process and the change in plain words instead.

Customer logos and names

Use the customer’s name and logo only as your agreement allows. Stock footage shows unrelated people, so never present it as the customer’s team.

The starter brief

“Use this starter” fills in this brief in the studio. Edit any of it before you generate a storyboard.

Turn my approved case study into a one-minute customer story: the starting situation, what was done, and what changed. Use only results, numbers and quotes that appear in the source, and attribute them as the source does. End with a link to the full case study.

Review before you publish

Storyvalo drafts the script and assembles the video; you decide what is accurate. Read every scene against its source, check names, numbers and claims, and only use material you have permission to use. Stock footage and AI illustrations are illustrative, and narration is AI-generated.

What it costs

One 60-second, watermarked 720p export per verified account each calendar month. It ends with a short “Made with Storyvalo” card over its last two seconds. Standard voices and still or stock media. No payment card, no automatic subscription. Paid exports stay 1080p without the Storyvalo watermark. A free account includes five minutes of AI script attempts each calendar month, an editable storyboard and an interactive preview, with no card. Rendering a narrated video uses video minutes: export one minute for $2.99 or three minutes for $7.99, plus applicable tax, without a subscription. Monthly plans suit regular production and longer videos. Compare plans and packs.

Questions

Can I use a customer quote in the narration?

Yes, if it appears in your approved source. Keep it word for word and attributed as the case study attributes it; AI narration will read it in the narrator’s voice.

Can I send the video to one prospect?

Create an unlisted viewing link that expires after 7, 30 or 90 days, with an optional download button. Anyone with the link can view it, and you can revoke it.

What if the case study is a PDF?

Upload it. PDFs and text files work as sources alongside or instead of web pages.
