Make a product video from your Shopify product page

Shoppers want the details that decide a purchase: what it is, what it is made of, how it fits or works, and how to care for it. Paste your public product page and Storyvalo drafts a short square video from those details. Your own product photos can appear exactly as photographed, so the video never shows a product you do not sell.

A good fit when

  • You sell on Shopify or any store with public product pages.
  • You have good product photos to show.
  • You want a video for the product page or social feeds without a shoot.

The closest real example

This square export was made from a fictional store product page. It focuses on the details buyers check, the pattern this starter follows.

Fictional demonstration: the brand, source and scenario were invented for this example. It is not a customer testimonial or evidence of business results. Watch it with its source and script.

Shopify product video, step by step

  1. Paste the product URL

Use the public product page link, the same one shoppers visit. Choose Specific links so only that page informs the script.

  2. Add your product photos

Upload up to five product photos. You can show one photo in every scene, or choose a photo per scene in the storyboard. Photos stay as photographed, with no AI recreation.

  3. Check the buying details

Compare materials, sizes, care instructions and compatibility in the narration with the product page. Remove anything about stock, discounts or delivery unless the page states it.

  4. Render a square video

The starter uses 1:1, which suits product pages and feeds. Copy the project into portrait for vertical placements.

Avoid accidental promises

Phrases like “ships tomorrow” or “best-selling” are claims. Keep them out unless your page says so and they will stay true while the video is live. A video outlives a promotion, so leave limited-time offers in your store copy instead.

One product per video

Collections and bundles tempt you to cover everything. A video per product, using that product’s photos, is easier to review and fits product pages better.

The starter brief

“Use this starter” fills in this brief in the studio. Edit any of it before you generate a storyboard.

Source: Specific linksSquare 1:1Style: Editorial
Turn my store product page into a short square product video for shoppers. Describe what the product is, the details a buyer checks before purchase (materials, size, care or compatibility as stated on the page), and close with an invitation to view the product page. Do not mention discounts, stock levels or delivery promises unless the page states them. Use only facts from my source. Do not invent statistics, prices, quotes, customer names or results.

Review before you publish

Storyvalo drafts the script and assembles the video; you decide what is accurate. Read every scene against its source, check names, numbers and claims, and only use material you have permission to use. Stock footage and AI illustrations are illustrative, and narration is AI-generated.

What it costs

One 60-second, watermarked 720p export per verified account each calendar month. It ends with a short “Made with Storyvalo” card over its last two seconds. Standard voices and still or stock media. No payment card, no automatic subscription. Paid exports stay 1080p without the Storyvalo watermark. A free account includes five minutes of AI script attempts each calendar month, an editable storyboard and an interactive preview, with no card. Rendering a narrated video uses video minutes: export one minute for $2.99 or three minutes for $7.99, plus applicable tax, without a subscription. Monthly plans suit regular production and longer videos. Compare plans and packs.

Questions

Do I need to install a Shopify app?

No. This workflow uses the public product page URL and any photos you upload. It works the same way for other store platforms.

Can it pull my product photos automatically?

Upload the photos you want to use. That way you choose exactly which images appear and confirm you have the right to show them.

Can I make videos for several products?

Yes. Create one project per product. Each video uses video minutes when rendered; drafting and editing do not.
