HOW STORYVALO WORKS

Trust and transparency

Here is how Storyvalo handles sources, AI-generated media and stock footage today. This page describes what the product does and where its checks stop. It is not a legal guarantee.

Check script claims against your sources

When a video starts from a webpage, document or other source, Storyvalo lists the factual claims in the draft and labels each one Supported, Inferred, Unsupported or User-provided, with the exact supporting excerpt where one was found. Inspect the evidence before rendering, or turn on strict verification to block rendering until the check is complete and nothing needs your attention.

Support is checked against extracted source text, not the visual content of photos, diagrams or PDF pages. A supported claim is not a guarantee that it is true.

Mark AI-generated media

Exports that contain AI-generated media carry an IPTC disclosure in their XMP file metadata. You can also add an optional visible AI-generated label to a video.

Treat this marking as a disclosure, not proof of authenticity. It does not verify the factual claims in your video, and platforms can remove metadata during upload. Keep any disclosure your publishing platform requires.

No real people in photographic videos

The Realistic (photographic) style is not for depicting real, identifiable people, including public figures, because Storyvalo cannot verify their consent. Automatic checks refuse requests that name well-known public figures or ask for a deepfake, face swap or impersonation of a specific person, as well as imitations of real news, bodycam, surveillance or war footage with fake timestamps, tickers or station logos.

These checks look for known names and wording, so they cannot catch every request. Use fictional characters, and remain responsible for what you create and publish.

Licensed stock with credits kept

Stock photos and clips come from Pexels under the Pexels License. Storyvalo keeps the contributor credit and licence link with each imported item, shows them with the scene and includes them in downloadable publishing notes. Only the search words you enter are sent to Pexels.

A stock licence does not clear every person, trademark or property shown, and stock illustrates a scene rather than showing your own product, staff or customers. Do not imply an endorsement.

What we do not promise
