What's new in Storyvalo
Bring your story to life with motion, recurring characters and a focused short-video workflow. Explore the tools, choose your budget and make the final video your own.
Find these options in your workspace as they become available. Before you confirm a motion plan or render, the on-screen estimate shows the included allowance and any additional cost.
Bring movement to the moments that matter
Smart motion selects the opening hook and eligible scenes with people or action for AI clips, while other scenes keep moving stills. Animate everything and Stills only offer different balances of motion and cost.
How to use it
Open Motion and cost estimate in an eligible Realistic storyboard. Review the selected scenes, included seconds and any optional credit upgrade, then confirm the plan. Follow the prompts to render the stills and, once clips are ready, the final AI video.
A moving still uses camera movement on an image; it does not animate the subject. Check the final-render video minutes as well as the motion estimate. An included allowance is not a promise of free exports.
Choose a motion tier that fits your budget
Create affordable motion with Standard, delivered in your 1080p video, or choose Pro for native 1080p motion. Standard source clips may be upscaled. Compare the tiers available in your estimate.
How to use it
Compare the tier, scene durations, credits and any held retry reserve before confirming. Included motion seconds apply to Standard where your account has an allowance.
The final quote is the price to review. A higher tier does not guarantee better faces, accurate products or a successful creative result.
Give Realistic videos a more polished rhythm
Shape a Realistic video around the narration with changes of framing and subtle camera movement. The polished finish brings this edited presentation to eligible images and clips; it does not turn a still into live action.
How to use it
Choose Realistic (photographic), then review Use the polished finish and your scene settings. Watch the result for framing, readable captions and continuity.
Full-bleed framing can crop the image. Supported new Social short recipe stills use gentler framing instead of tight subshots, but essential hands, tools and objects still need your review.
Bring familiar characters into your next episode
Build a series around recurring fictional adults. Realistic storyboards can use reference portraits to guide their appearance across scenes, and a saved cast gives your next video the same starting references.
How to use it
Open Recurring cast (series) in the storyboard. Save its cast to your library; render once to retain its reference portraits, then choose Start a new video with this cast.
References guide generation but do not guarantee identical faces. Review every appearance. Use fictional people; a cast reference is not evidence of a real person’s consent.
Catch technical problems before sharing
Automatic quality checks help catch freezes, blank frames, audio-level problems and caption-fit issues on eligible exports. Some detected problems can be repaired automatically before delivery.
How to use it
Look for Automatic quality check on a completed video. Its summary names the checks that actually ran and passed; checks can vary with the media and available capabilities.
A passed check is not a fact check or a creative endorsement. Inspect any changed media and play the complete export with sound before sharing.
Make AI use clear to your audience
Help viewers understand how your video was made with an optional visible AI-generated label. Where AI marking is enabled, exports containing AI-generated media also carry an IPTC disclosure in XMP file metadata.
How to use it
Choose the optional AI-generated label for a visible disclosure when the control is available. Keep required disclosures when you publish and check the destination platform’s own options.
This release uses unsigned XMP with no signer, not a trusted C2PA signature or proof of authenticity. Platforms can remove metadata during upload. Neither the metadata nor a visible label verifies the factual claims in your video.
Before you publish
Watch the entire downloaded video with sound. Check the action, faces, facts, captions, pronunciation and pacing. Automated checks and planning guidance cannot establish that a video is accurate, convincing or ready to publish.

Keep a Social short focused on one action
The optional Follow one action recipe guides a short around one subject or action, connecting the visuals to the narration instead of unrelated cutaways.
How to use it
Start a new Social short, choose English and vertical 9:16, set 15–60 seconds, and turn on Follow one action before creating the storyboard. It is unavailable for original PDF pages.
Your wording and other choices still apply. The recipe does not add a motion allowance or authorize extra spending. Review the draft and finished video; planning a coherent action does not prove it appears correctly on screen.
