Start from what you already have

Turn your own text or script into a narrated video

Sometimes you already have the words: a script, an outline or a few paragraphs you wrote. Paste them into the starter and Storyvalo splits them into scenes, suggests a visual for each, and adds AI narration and captions. Your meaning and order stay yours, and every scene can be edited before rendering.

Opens the studio with an editable text to video brief. Sign in or create a free account first; nothing is generated or charged until you continue.

A good fit when

  • You have written the script or the key text yourself.
  • You want visuals and narration without filming.
  • The text is up to a few minutes long.

Text to video, step by step

  1. Paste your text

The starter opens in Your idea with a short instruction. Paste your text after “My text:”. The field takes up to 12,000 characters.

  2. Choose a look

The starter uses illustration style. Pick editorial or cinematic instead, and choose landscape, portrait or square.

  3. Adjust scenes

Edit narration and visual direction scene by scene, reorder scenes, and set timing automatically or per scene.

  4. Render

Render a 1080p MP4 with optional captions and a subtitle file.

Exact narration

If every word must be read exactly as written, edit each scene’s narration to your text before rendering; the draft may shorten long passages to fit the length you chose.

Length and pace

Spoken narration runs at a natural pace, so a long text needs a longer video. Choose the whole-minute length that fits, or trim the text.

Give each scene one idea

Short paragraphs make better scenes. If your text has long paragraphs, split them before pasting, one idea each, so every scene has a clear visual to match.

The starter brief

Review before you publish

Storyvalo drafts the script and assembles the video; you decide what is accurate. Read every scene against its source, check names, numbers and claims, and only use material you have permission to use. Stock footage and AI illustrations are illustrative, and narration is AI-generated.

What it costs

One 60-second, watermarked 720p export per verified account each calendar month. It ends with a short “Made with Storyvalo” card over its last two seconds. Standard voices and still or stock media. No payment card, no automatic subscription. Paid exports stay 1080p without the Storyvalo watermark. A free account includes five minutes of AI script attempts each calendar month, an editable storyboard and an interactive preview, with no card. Rendering a narrated video uses video minutes: export one minute for $2.99 or three minutes for $7.99, plus applicable tax, without a subscription. Monthly plans suit regular production and longer videos. Compare plans and packs.
